  Construction of PEB hangar building 100M x 75M along with annexure on both sides.

  Challenge

  The hangar has a 75 M clear span with a crane with a 75 M span with 100 MT of self-weight and is difficult to move.

  Solution

  Our design team suggested we support the crane from the rafter instead of the column to reduce the crane's self-weight.

  End Result

  The single-girder underslung crane is still in good service after 10 years.
