Modular Structure
Modular Structure
Modular structures consist of several prefabricated components and are then brought on-site either in easy-to-assemble parts or in a completed state. After transporting the components to the desired location, they're placed on a permanent foundation and assembled, following local building codes.
Among the two types of modular construction, Modern Prefab Systems excels in 2D penalised construction. In this process, individual wall and floor panels are constructed at their Bhilai Factory and are transported in pelletised format for final erection at the site.
TOP THREE BENEFITS OF A PANELIZED CONSTRUCTION
Saves Time and Money
The walls & Floors go up quicker once on site, resulting in a closed-in building much sooner. Although the cost of panelized construction may be similar to traditionally-built homes, the time required on-site for construction is significantly shorter. It is also possible to minimize delays due to bad weather during construction.
Quality Construction
Precisely square and dimensionally correct panels are constructed on a flat horizontal platform, meaning workers can work at the ideal height allowing them perfect control over the final product. The material used is also put under tighter scrutiny, resulting in a better-quality panel.
Environmentally Friendly
Pre-fabricating the wall & floor panels means less waste. Because of the precise construction, it can result in a more energy-efficient building envelope. The tighter tolerances provided by panelized buildings offer the possibility for highly efficient homes. Especially when combined with on-site sealing methods.
